A Gathering Devoted to Prayer

Introduction

The Original Gathering was devoted to prayer. As modern-day followers of Jesus, we should follow the example set by the early church as they were dedicated to individual prayer and praying together. Prayer is the opportunity for each of us to connect with God about our unique situation and experience Him for ourselves. In part three of our series, Pastor Mike will highlight the different aspects of prayer that make it vital for every disciple, looking at questions like: What is prayer? Why is prayer necessary? Who is the practice of prayer for? What does prayer do in our lives? Is prayer required or expected of a disciple?
