Unpacked | Session 2

Introduction

In this second unpacking session, Pastor Mike and Ethan revisit the key words 'exegesis' and 'eisegesis', helping us understand the differences between drawing meaning from a source or introducing outside influences. We'll discuss the personal responsibility we have to do this well and explore how we can do that. We'll talk about what makes for a good translation of the Bible, and which versions Pastor Mike personally recommends, and finish with talking about preparing to defend one's Christian world view through study of the Bible.
